Tamara Spencer, FCA
Before starting up the company with Maurice and Susy in 2004, Tamara worked for a number of years in the media industry both as a financial controller and a group accountant. Her experience as a financial controller gave her a useful insight into the issues that finance departments deal with on a day-to-day basis.
In setting up 4M, Tamara was passionate about providing a different level of service, combining year-end compliance work with hands-on assistance for clients when dealing with everyday issues. Tamara’s true strength is in developing new client relationships and she is also highly valued for her role in helping new start-ups to get off the ground.

Nicki Klass BSc (Hons)
Nicki joined 4M Accountancy shortly after the business started up and she now has a multitude of responsibilities including payrolls, bookkeeping, company secretary work, social media as well as being our Managing Director.
More used to crime scenes than spreadsheets, Nicki previously worked as a forensic scientist with the Met Police and the Home Office. But now, with two bookkeeping qualifications under her belt, Nicki’s analytical brain and attention to detail has proved invaluable over the last ten years, making her an indispensable member of our team.

Susy MacRae FCA
Before setting up 4M, Susy worked in a general accountancy practice for over thirty years, choosing to specialise in owner managed businesses.
Susy has a wealth of experience as well as detailed technical knowledge. Throughout her long career, Susy has always played a vital role in strategic development and one of her specialist areas at 4M is the development of accounting and management procedures in small businesses.

Maurice Ede FCA
One of 4M’s three founding members, Maurice started off his accountancy career with an international firm of accountants. He then spent many years in a general provincial practice before specialising in consultancy for small and medium-sized enterprises.
At 4M, Maurice looks after a wide variety of clients, ranging from small one person businesses to a company with a £10m turnover. Maurice is highly regarded for his experience and his specialist knowledge of tax and trusts. Another of his areas of expertise is advising on the most appropriate means for starting and developing business ventures.
